Akazooper
Sticker pack for Viber
DESCRIPTION
Akazoo Business Project in cooperation with voice & messaging cross-platform Viber. Localised in Greece & Russia.
TASKS & GOALS
I had several tasks:
– simulate and draw a brand-character for using in various settings;
– develop screen story for the character placements;
– find slogans for each scene and combine them with the character.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
STAGE 1
At first, to create characters, I used the concept of their opposition and differences in type, such as sad / cheerful, extrovert / introvert, but then I abandoned this idea and decided on a single character who visually reminded the reborn Akazoo logo.
STAGE 2
At the next stage, I developed the variety of character’s temper, drew its emotions and found associative solutions.
STAGE 3
At the last stage, I modeled the role stages. Eventually, I created over 400 conceptual drafts and separated more than 130 sticks, 17 were selected for the production pack.
FINAL PACKAGE
Final package was too large, so the product managers desided to merge the New Year theme stickers into the separate Viber pack.
